Automatic social media posting, zero manual work

Upload your content once. Posta auto-crops for every platform, auto-compresses for optimal quality, and auto-publishes on your schedule.

From upload to published, fully automated

Manual social media posting is a time sink. For every piece of content, you open an editor, export multiple crops, log into each platform, upload, write captions, and hit publish. Multiply that by five platforms and three posts a week, and you are spending hours on repetitive work that adds no creative value.

Posta automates the entire pipeline. Drop in your source file, select your target platforms, and Posta takes over. It detects faces and subjects, generates correctly cropped variants for each platform, compresses media to platform-specific size limits, and queues everything for publishing at the times you set. You stay creative. Posta handles the logistics.

Smart automation, not dumb duplication

Most auto-posting tools just copy the same file to every platform. That results in awkward crops, letterboxing, and content that looks out of place. Posta is different. Every variant is tailored to its destination: 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, 1:1 for Instagram feed, 16:9 for YouTube. Face detection ensures your subjects are always in frame, and smart compression balances quality and file size for each platform's requirements.

Set it and forget it

With Posta's visual calendar and timezone-aware scheduling, you can plan days or weeks of content in a single session. Batch scheduling lets you queue up a week of posts in minutes. Once it is scheduled, Posta handles the rest. Your content goes live when your audience is active, whether you are at your desk or not.

Auto-posting FAQ

What does "auto-post" mean in Posta?

Posta auto-formats your source media for each target platform (crops, compresses, picks the right aspect ratio), then auto-publishes at the scheduled time via each network's official API. No manual exports or uploads.

Can I receive webhooks when my posts publish or fail?

Yes. Posta sends HMAC-signed webhook events for post.scheduled, post.processing, post.published, post.partially_published, post.failed, post.result.success, and post.result.failed. Register a webhook URL in Settings → Webhooks.

Does Posta retry failed publications automatically?

Each publishing job is retried up to 3 times with exponential backoff before being marked failed. Webhook deliveries to your endpoints retry up to 5 times.

Can I trigger posts from Zapier, Make, or n8n?

Yes — Posta exposes a public REST API documented at api.getposta.app/docs. Use the Zapier / Make / n8n HTTP modules to call the create-post endpoint with a bearer token.

How does Posta handle scheduled posts across time zones?

Scheduled times are stored in UTC and rendered in your local timezone. A scheduler worker checks for due posts every minute and dispatches them to the right publisher.

Can I auto-post from my IDE or CLI?

Yes. Posta has a Claude Code skill that lets you create, schedule, and publish posts directly from your terminal or IDE using natural-language commands.

Does Posta auto-format content for each platform?

Yes. Face-aware cropping detects subjects and keeps them centered. Smart compression matches each platform's size limits. Different aspect-ratio variants (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) are generated automatically.
